The Las Vegas Festival Grounds located at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard were designed and developed as a purpose-built venue to host the Rock in Rio music festival. It shared a similar structure and format to its Brazilian counterpart, hosting over120 acts over two weekends. SLA worked with MGM and the festival's organizers to transform an empty dirt lot and a portion of the Circus Circus RV Park into an outdoor venue capable of hosting this biennial event.
